Floor Heating Is The Most Favourable Heating Solution

Among all heating systems, floor heating provides the most natural vertical temperature distribution, closely mirroring the body’s physiological temperature gradient. As a low-temperature heating solution, floor heating operates at surface temperatures of approximately 26°C, with the entire floor serving as the heating element.

The advantages of these features include:

  • No combustion or dust convection, reducing the risk of allergies.
  • Absence of draughts.
  • Uniform temperature distribution, eliminating drastic variations within rooms.
  • Maintains comfortable humidity levels, avoiding dry air.
  • Enhanced indoor climate comfort for users, with evenly distributed room temperatures and a pleasant warm floor effect.
  • Unobstructed interior designs, free from bulky heaters, boilers, chimneys, and visible water or gas pipes.
  • Reduced capital costs.
  • Decentralized heating regulation, allowing individual room temperature control.

Efficiency and Material Considerations for Electric Floor Heating

The efficiency of an electric floor heating system largely depends on the thickness of the floor’s thermal insulation. This factor is particularly crucial for ground floors or those above unheated spaces.

Approved Finishing Materials for Heated Floors

Approved Finishing Materials for Heated Floors

  • Floor Tiles: Marble, ceramic, porcelain, or terracotta.
  • Fitted Carpet: Maximum thickness of 15 mm, including underlay.
  • PVC/Vinyl Flooring.
  • Thin, Floor-Glued Wood Parquet.
  • Laminate or Engineered Wood.

Important Notes:

  • Except for floor tiles, all materials must be approved by their manufacturers for use with floor heating systems.

  • Installation should strictly follow the manufacturers’ instructions to ensure compatibility and performance.
